She worked at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, University of California and Lawrence Livermore Laboratory, and for NASA and was a delegate to the United Nations. She was a consultant at Stanford Research Institute (SRI) with physicists Russell Targ and Harold Puthoff in the 1970s, working with governmental and naval funding of what was called, “Remote Viewing” (RV), studies of objects without the use of technology.
